Does Lens make hiring decisions?

No. Lens is decision support: it gathers, ranks, and explains the evidence, and the recruiter always holds the verdict. Nothing advances or is rejected because of a Lens answer.

What do the Verified, Reported, and Inferred badges mean?

Verified facts come from the interview transcript, scores, or documents in your pipeline. Reported facts are things a candidate said about themselves. Inferred facts are Lens reasoning from the evidence, and are labeled so you treat them accordingly.

Where does the public signal come from?

When it is relevant to the role, Lens can look at public sources like the candidate’s current company and public GitHub profile. Everything it uses is cited in the answer, and it never touches private accounts.
